Founder and Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Scott is the impassioned business leader behind our mission to enable health care transformers to do what they’ve always dreamed of doing – fix health care, starting with radiology. It is Scott’s foundational belief that radiology must be accountable to defined standards that improve patient outcomes and lower the cost of care by eliminating errors, variation and waste across the health system. He believes that a blended solution that integrates software, service, and analytics is the key enabler.
Scott first put this belief in practice as founder, CEO, and President of Radisphere®, a national radiology group that employs over 120 radiologists and provides 1.3 million annual interpretations at over 60 facilities in 23 states.
Earlier this year, Sheridan Healthcare acquired Radisphere. The combined entity is now the largest hospital-based radiology practice in the US. As part of that transaction, Candescent Health retained all of the software, analytics, and business processes that we developed over a decade of operating Radisphere as a standards-based care provider. As founder and CEO of Candescent Health, Scott is able to broadly commercialize those assets into a software-enabled service that enables radiology providers to drive greater healthcare value.
Prior to Radisphere, Scott worked in venture capital, and co-founded RIS Logic, a leading radiology software company that targeted diagnostic imaging centers. RIS Logic was acquired by Merge Healthcare in 2003.
